PARIS — Camilla Frank is to become chief executive officer of Copenhagen Fashion Week, succeeding Eva Kruse, effective Dec. 1.
Kruse remains ceo of the Danish Fashion Institute, focusing on the Copenhagen Fashion Summit.
Frank joins the fashion-week organizer from Danish web site Fashion-Post, which she founded. About 30 men’s and women’s labels present at Copenhagen Fashion Week each season, and the event draws between 25,000 and 30,000 industry professionals.
The dates for the fall 2017 collections week are set from Feb. 1 to 3. The Copenhagen Fashion Summit, a biannual meeting focusing on sustainability organized by the Danish Fashion Institute on behalf of the Nordic Fashion Association, is to evolve toward an annual event. The next edition is to be held on May 11.
