MILAN — Cosmetica Italia, the Italian association of cosmetics companies, has appointed Luca Nava as new general director.
Nava, previously the director of technical regulations of the national association of cosmetics companies, replaces former general director Maurizio Crippa, who is stepping down for retirement.
After graduating in biological sciences, Nava gained long experiences in multinational contexts, both in Italy and abroad, holding positions in communications, research, development and regulatory affairs, before joining Cosmetica Italia in 2007.
“With pride I pick up the challenge of this new opportunity,” said Nava. “The activities of the executive board will proceed in continuity and consistency respecting the three strategic areas (membership, representation and services), identified by the three-year plan of the presidency. In particular, I strongly believe in the ability of the association to be a place for discussion, debate and growth: a real ‘home’ for members.”
