PARIS — Sophie Vann Guillon has been promoted to the newly created role of chief executive officer of CVL Cosmetics. It’s the parent company of the Valmont Group, which makes luxury skin-care products under the Valmont and Elixir des Glaciers labels and fragrances branded Il Profumo.
Vann Guillon had, for more than 17 years, served as chief operating manager at CVL Cosmetics, which is based in Switzerland. Prior to that, she was a marketing manager at Yves Saint Laurent Parfums from 1994 to 2000, and an export area manager for Oscar de la Renta Parfums between 1989 and 1992, according to her LinkedIn profile.
At CVL Cosmetics, the 53-year-old has launched products for Valmont such as the Time Master Sublimating Program, and reformulated the Prime Renewing Pack, an iconic Valmont mask. The company claims one jar is sold every eight minutes in the world.
Vann Guillon holds an MBA in international marketing.
