Chico’s FAS Inc. has named David Pastrana president of its White House|Black Market brand.
Pastrana joins the retailer Jan. 10. He will oversee all business activities for the brand, and report directly to Shelley Broader, president and chief executive officer of Chico’s. According to Chico’s, he succeeds Donna Colaco, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Pastrana has held senior leadership positions at Zara and Topshop/Topman. He also is the former managing director and ceo of Inditex USA. Since 2014, he also was most recently president of apparel at Sears Holdings Corp.
Pastrana said, “White House|Black Market has already begun to make important improvements, including returning to the brand’s core and shifting the assortment focus back to workwear, black and white, and work-appropriate dresses.”
