LONDON — De Beers Diamond Jewellers has named Louise Kahrmann to the post of communications manager Europe.
Kahrmann, who joined the company earlier this month, reports to Sidonie Robert-Degove, managing director Europe and the U.S. She has replaced Sonia Carpentier, who left the company earlier this year.
Kahrmann will be based at De Beers’ head office in London, and also work out of the company’s Paris office. She joined De Beers from Elie Saab in Paris, where she oversaw the PR for France, the UK, and the brand’s other top markets.
Previously, she was director, women’s division at DM Media, and worked as the international PR manager for the late Loulou de la Falaise. She began her career at British Vogue in London.
De Beers Diamond Jewellers is an independently managed and operated company jointly owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and De Beers SA.
