BERLIN — Rafael Pastor Espuch has been named chief product officer of Esprit, effective Nov. 4.
He replaces Melody Jensbach-Harris, who resigned from the post and the Esprit board of management effective Oct. 31, as reported.
Espuch will be responsible for managing the creation and design of all Esprit product divisions, reporting directly to the group chief executive officer Jose Manuel Martinez Gutiérrez.
Like Gutiérrez, Espuch is an Inditex alumnus, and for the last 12 years served as executive director of the women’s product division, Zara Basic.
Prior to that, Espuch was product manager for Zara Shoes, international clothing product manager for the U.S., Greece and the Middle East, and earlier, controller for another Zara women’s division.
