MILAN Franco Lucà will step down from his role as chief executive officer of Gianfranco Lotti at the end of the month for personal reasons, but will hold a non-executive position on the company’s board of directors.

Board members Stefano Ferro and Guido Carissimo will be co-ceos on an interim basis.

Lucà had been appointed ceo in 2013 by Germany’s Halder Holdings, which acquired the luxury handbag label and its parent company Bottega Manifatturiera Borse SpA.

Gianfranco Lotti currently operates flagships in Florence, Milan and Seoul, along with a pop-up store in Dubai Mall’s Galeries Lafayette.
