PARIS — Guerlain has appointed Christophe Legrand as its new chief operating officer, a company spokeswoman confirmed.

He succeeds Alexandre Oules, who left the fragrance brand to join another LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned label, Céline, as coo.

Legrand, according to his LinkedIn profile, had since March 2010 been director of leather goods manufacturing at Louis Viuitton.

Prior to that, he was director of rare and exceptional manufacturing at Louis Vuitton and also plant director and general manager of Louis Vuitton manufacturing in the U.S.
