He begins immediately and will report to Anita Barr, group fashion director.

Aquilina, previously buying manager at Kurt Geiger and international buyer for Lane Crawford, has also consulted for Harrods within its luxury collections. He succeeds Darren Skey, who left the retailer after eight years to explore new opportunities.

Aquilina will manage the retailer’s men’s wear category in the store’s eight locations in the U.K. and Ireland.

“I’m delighted David is joining Harvey Nichols at this exciting time for the both the brand and the men’s wear destination,” Barr said. “David will continue to drive the Harvey Nichols men’s wear business forward and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.”
