BERLIN  Yves Müller has been named chief financial officer of Hugo Boss, effective no later than Jan. 1.

The German apparel giant has been without a cfo for almost exactly a year, due to the-then cfo Mark Langer’s move into the Boss chief executive officer position in May 2016.

An 18-year veteran of the German coffee and consumer products group Tchibo, Müller most recently served as Tchibo’s cfo. He began his career as an auditor.

As Boss cfo, Müller will be responsible for investor relations and administration within the Hugo Boss Group.
