Trish Whalen has been named vice president, business development of the Ivanka Trump Collection, a new post.
Whalen, who starts Tuesday, will be responsible for expanding Trump’s
line of apparel, shoes and accessories internationally, as well as
through partnerships and new licensing opportunities. She reports to
Most recently, Whalen was with Maxim, where she headed up its domestic
licensing division. Before that she was with Kate Spade, where she
developed their portfolio of licensed businesses. Her last post was head
of product strategy, where she was responsible for the overall management
of the internal businesses she had implemented, including watches,
fragrance, beauty and tech.
The Ivanka Trump collection is currently sold in such stores as
Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s and
