VF Corp. has named Jim Pisani as global brand president for Timberland.

Pisani was most recently president of VF’s licensed sports group. Pisani will report to Scott Baxter, a VF vice president and a group president for the company’s outdoor and action sports, Americas business. Pisani succeeded Stewart Whitney, who left the firm last month.

Pisani joined VF in 2008, said, “There are so many opportunities in front of the Timberland brand and I look forward to partnering with the talented teams around the world to leverage our collective strengths and accelerate growth.”

Baxter said, “Jim is a tremendously talented and accomplished executive with a proven track record of delivering consistent business results and generating new growth opportunities.”

Mike Pardini was named president of the licensed sports group, succeeding Pisani, Pardini was most recently vice president of sales for VF licensed sports group and the Majestic brand. He joined VF in 2010 as director of Harley-Davidson Sales.
