LONDON — Jimmy Choo has named Meribeth Parker and Anna-Lena Kamenetzky as non-executive board directors. Kamenetzky will replace Bart Becht on the board.
Becht announced his intention to step down from the Jimmy Choo board due to his continued involvement as chairman and interim chief executive officer of Coty Inc.
Meribeth Parker was group publishing director of Hearst Magazines until the end of June, and has held a variety of senior roles in publishing. She will be joining the board on Aug. 1.
Kamenetzky is a partner and head of corporate development at JAB Holding Company LLC, which owns Jimmy Choo.
“We are very pleased to be welcoming two new directors to the Jimmy Choo board,” said Peter Harf, the company’s chairman. “Meribeth and Anna-Lena bring a wealth of experience and new perspectives to the board. We would like to thank Bart for all of his hard work in bringing Jimmy Choo to this point.”
Parker is now a media and luxury consultant following a 14-year career at Hearst Magazines U.K. Previously, she spent five years as publishing director of Where London Magazine.
Kamenetzky has been head of business development at JAB Holding since August 2012, and has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate finance, business development, investing and restructuring.
Before joining JAB, she was a managing director at the private equity firm RHJI, where she was in charge of restructuring and selling its Japanese portfolio assets and prior to that, she worked in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs.
