Marvin Traub Associates has promoted Kelsey Scroggins Groome to managing director from senior vice president.
“Kelsey’s knowledge is deep. Her relationships are broad and strong, and her contributions to Traub’s growth are numerous,” said Marvin Traub’s chief executive officer Mortimer Singer, and Marvin Traub partners Christopher West and Geoffrey Lurie in a joint statement. “Over the past eight years she has become a leader. She has driven and sustained some of our most challenging and important projects, while simultaneously driving new business opportunities.”
Groome joined the firm in 2008 and served as senior vice president in the global fashion and lifestyle practice. As managing director, she will continue to expand Traub’s business development initiatives.
Groome focuses on working with retailers and brands to develop and implement growth strategies and advising clients on leasing and merchandising strategies. She has represented a long roster of retail and branded companies, completing strategic advisory assignments such as Bloomingdale’s Dubai, Macy’s Abu Dhabi as well as Gulf Related’s real estate developments in Abu Dhabi. She also works closely with the Traub celebrity and consumer divisions to develop business opportunities.
“We have a unique approach to helping clients achieve new growth opportunities,” Groome commented. “I am excited to continue working with our talented team as we expand our business development initiatives.”
