Josephine Linden has been named chairman in a reconfiguration of board assignments at Lands’ End Inc.
Elizabeth Darst Leykum, who has chaired Lands’ End’s board since the company’s initial public offering in April, remains a director of the company and will now head its nominating and corporate governance committee while Robert Galvin chairs the compensation committee.
The Dodgeville, Wis.-based multichannel retailer has also formed a technology committee of the board with responsibility for assisting it in overseeing information technology strategy and risks. Jignesh Patel will chair the new committee, which will also include Galvin and Jonah Straw. Patel is a professor in the computer science department at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and co-founder of Locomatix, which developed a platform to power mobile data-driven services and applications.
