HONG KONG — Hong Kong-based luxury retailer The Lane Crawford Joyce Group on Friday unveiled changes in its upper management. Effective Jan. 4, Peter Woo, chairman of the group, will take on the role of honorary chairman.
Jennifer Woo will succeed him as chairman and chief executive officer of The Lane Crawford Joyce Group. She is president of Lane Crawford and deputy chairman of The Lane Crawford Joyce Group.
The group also said Andrew Keith, who has been president of Joyce since the departure of the Ma family in 2008, will assume the role of president of Lane Crawford. Keith will be responsible for merchandising, stores and marketing. He will also continue to oversee Joyce Boutique as president, reporting directly to Jennifer Woo.
“We now have the opportunity to further share communication and best practices across the business while remaining committed to each company’s vision and core values,” said Keith. “I am very much looking forward to my new responsibilities, and to working with two exceptionally talented teams to further our market leadership position in luxury retail,” he said.
Jennifer Woo said, “Andrew has successfully steered Joyce through what was a very challenging two years and he has delivered exceptional results. We are excited to welcome Andrew back to Lane Crawford, and we look forward to working with [him] and his team to build on the company’s strong performance, and to pursue other exciting opportunities.”
