PARIS — Launchmetrics has appointed Jessica Michault senior vice president, industry relations. In this newly created role, Michault, who joined the company in mid-November, will oversee the editorial content strategy for the Fashion GPS Radar platform.

Launchmetrics, formerly Fashion GPS, was created out of the year-ago merger of Augure, a Paris-based firm that specializes in influencer marketing, and Fashion GPS, billed as the premier technology provider for the fashion industry. Combining data insights and technology, the firm provides tools designed to help clients target the influencers and media who will best reach an audience that is most likely to purchase.

Launchmetrics is based in New York and counts 1,700 clients spanning 70 countries, including Dior, Porsche and Levi’s.

Michault, who worked alongside Suzy Menkes for 16 years at the International Herald Tribune as the paper’s online style editor, prior to joining Launchmetrics was editor in chief at Antidote magazine. Before that, she was editor in chief of for three years.
