MILAN — Leonardo Minerva has been appointed chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Collection and Calvin Klein Inc., the Italian branch, effective Dec. 1.

The executive will be based in Milan at the group’s European headquarters and report to the New York-based Michelle Kessler-Sanders, president of Calvin Klein Collection. Minerva was most recently director of industrial strategy at Saint Laurent in Paris, where he oversaw all strategies and activities of the industrial supply chain worldwide. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Fendi and Procter & Gamble.

Minerva will be in charge of Italy’s Milan and Trento offices and manage the manufacturing, sourcing, product development and vendor relationships for Calvin Klein Collection worldwide, including the brand’s atelier in New York and the retail outlet business in Europe.
