The first prize winner is a team from Institut Français de la Mode, France, for “Our Moments, Luxury Beyond One Lifetime.” Second prize went to a team from ESADE Ramon Llull University, Spain, for 3-D Home Wardrobe. The third prize was awarded to Berluteam, a team of Berluti interns in France for U-Berluti, when luxury walks by your side.
The four-month program allowed 50 teams comprised of 200 students — representing the 50 best European universities — selected for their innovative ideas on “the luxury experience of tomorrow” to compare their visions for the future of the luxury industry with those of the LVMH senior management group during a closing ceremony on Thursday. The ceremony was held at LVMH’s headquarters in Paris, in the presence of chief executive officer Bernard Arnault and 50 members of the senior management of the company.
LVMH said that, through the program, a total of “4,448 students in six European countries” were participants and “have understood the stakes of the luxury industry and its different expertise.”
The program was launched by LVMH in January 2018 to allow the company to discover a “new generation of international talent echoing the values of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit dear to LVMH.”
