Formerly vice president of sales at Physicians Formula, Rogers will continue to work with Markwins founder and ceo Eric Chen to further elevate the brand with a focus on creativity and innovation. Also, he will oversee sales, marketing, R&D, new product development, supply chain and finance.
“We have a strong team and I have a lot of confidence in them,” said Rogers. “Thus, I will not be making any major changes other than promoting some individuals and adding to staff in some sales and marketing positions.”
He added, “We are a part of a company that is committed fully in helping us continue our sales success. Since Markwins purchased us in 2012, our national advertising budget has increased 400 percent. Our new campaign was just shot by Terry Richardson.”
Rogers joined the company in 1991 to lead the brand’s growth, first as sales director until 2006 and then in the position of vice president. During that time he played a key role in maintaining and building relationships with top retail customers. His roles at the brand have also included serving as president of the company from 2008 to 2012, as well as sitting on the board during its years on the Nasdaq exchange.
