Matteo Del Vecchio has joined Brooks Brothers in the new position of vice president of strategy and corporate development. Del Vecchio, the son of Brooks Bros. chairman and chief executive officer Claudio Del Vecchio, will be responsible for overseeing business development projects in areas including finance, technology, wholesale and manufacturing. He will also evaluate internal and external strategic growth opportunities.

Matteo Del Vecchio was formerly vice president in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co. Before that he was a business analyst with McKinsey & Co. in Milan. He holds a law degree from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan and an M.B.A. in finance and management from Columbia Business School. He will report to his father.
