Michelle Feeney, the chief executive officer of U.K.-based beauty conglomerate PZ Cussons Beauty, is stepping down to pursue personal interests. According to brand executives, current global managing director Selma Terzic will manage the business and the ceo post will remain unfilled at this time.
Feeney, 50, has been in the beauty industry for more than three decades. She worked at the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., helping to build brands like Prescriptives, Bumble and bumble, La Mer and MAC Cosmetics.
After she became the ceo of St. Tropez in 2007, PZ Cussons acquired the brand in 2010 and Feeney stayed on as ceo of all PZ Cussons’ beauty brands, including Charles Worthington, Fudge, Fudge Urban and Sanctuary.
“It’s been an amazing few years merging such cult beauty brands to create a great British beauty headquartered business, now poised for global expansion,” said Feeney.
