Perry Pericleous has been promoted to senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of specialty apparel retailer Express Inc.
Pericleous, who was previously the company’s vice president of finance, succeeds Paul Dascoli, who has left the firm. He reports to Matthew Moellering, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Columbus, Ohio-based marketer of women’s and men’s apparel.
Pericleous, who began his career at Drug Emporium and Value City Department Stores, joined Express 15 years ago. Prior to his post as vice president of finance, he served in roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s finance and accounting operations.
David Kornberg, president and chief executive officer of Express, lauded Pericleous’s “business acumen and financial discipline,” which he expects to aid the company “as we continue to execute our growth strategies and work to profitably grow our business in the near and long term.”
Express currently operates more than 600 retail and factory outlet stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. It also operates franchise locations in the Middle East, Latin America and South Africa.
