American racquet sports brand Prince Sports has extended its partnership with three-time World Champion squash player Ramy Ashour as its global brand ambassador.
Prince is one of the brands under the Authentic Brands Group umbrella.
Nick Woodhouse, ABG’s president and chief marketing officer, said, “With his World Champion status, unique on-court presence and tremendous global social following, Ashour plays an integral role in telling the Prince story to squash and racquet sports fans around the world.”
Ashour is a longtime Prince player. He uses the Pro Warrior 600 squash racquet. He began his career in 2004. He currently holds 35 titles and has won 52 finals. He is also a 1-time runner-up and a 2-time Team World Champion.
Ashour said, “Prince has made exceptional innovations in technology and continues to provide the best squash racquets on the market.”
The partnership with Ashour is in keeping with the Prince brand’s long history of career players. The brand has sponsored with some of the most recognizable racquet sports players, including Peter Nicol, Andre Agassi and Michael Chang.
