LONDON — Mulberry Group has named Neil James Ritchie as group finance director and a director of the company.
Ritchie, who will take up the post on May 16, replaces Roger Mather, who will depart at the end of June, as previously announced. Ritchie will report to Thierry Andretta, Mulberry’s chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Mulberry, Ritchie spent 14 years with Britain’s Dyson Group, where he held a variety of commercial and financial roles across the U.K., elsewhere in Europe, North America and Asia. Dyson designs and manufactures high-end vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, bladeless fans and heaters.
Most recently, Ritchie was global commercial financial director, reporting to the chief financial officer of Dyson. He is a chartered accountant and trained with Price Waterhouse, London.
Andretta said Ritchie’s “experience in developing and managing international business with a leading, innovative British brand will be very valuable during this exciting period for Mulberry.”
