The Doneger Group has beefed up its creative team with the appointment of Roberto Ramos to the position of senior vice president of global strategy and communications.
In this new position, Ramos will help the company develop global strategic plans, implement new digital and merchandising strategies and oversee marketing communications. He also will oversee Doneger’s editorial and content teams.
Ramos, who is fluent in Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese, will report to Abbey Doneger, president of The Doneger Group.
“Roberto is a strong strategic and creative thinker, and he brings a global perspective to our company,” Doneger said. “I believe that he has the ability to deliver outstanding merchandising and business strategies for our clients, leveraging his global and digital experience. I am confident that Roberto will be a valuable addition to our organization.”
Ramos cofounded Vox Collective in 2001, a New York-based creative/digital agency, where he worked with retailers and Fortune 500 companies both in the U.S. and overseas. In 2012, Ramos and his partner sold their company to global digital agency Profero, where he served as managing director, working with leading global brands such as TRESemmé, Primark, Havaianas, Avon, Rémy Martin and PepsiCo.
Ramos said he was looking forward to helping “harness the transformative forces of globalization and digital to support the growth of our clients’ business.”
