Saban Brands has named Mona Bijoor to its new Saban Brands Lifestyle Group Advisory Committee.
The SBLG Advisory Committee will meet quarterly and consist of industry executives who will provide guidance and strategic input in connection with the SBLG’s brands and future acquisitions.
Bijoor is the founder and chief executive officer of Joor, a digital wholesale marketplace connecting apparel brands with more than 100,000 retailers worldwide. She has worked with retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor and Harrods, and experience working in-hour at fashion brands such as Ann Taylor, Chanel and Elie Tahari.
Dan Castle, managing director of Saban Brands Lifestyle Group, said, “We look forward to leveraging her expertise while also adding additional experts to Saban Brands Lifestyle Group’s Advisory Committee in the coming months.”
Saban Brands was formed in 2010 and is an affiliate of Saban Capital Group. It also is comprised of two components, Saban Brands Entertainment Group, which develops branded content across all media platforms, and the SBLG, the umbrella that holds the fashion and lifestyle branded properties.
