Samuel D. Levy has joined the law firm Blank Rome as a partner in its corporate litigation group.
Levy, who specializes in general commercial and business litigation, will be based in the firm’s New York office. Prior to joining Blank Rome, Levy was at Wuersch & Gering. In addition to his work in corporate litigation and arbitration with multinational companies, Levy also has extensive experience in the luxury retail space, particularly on licensing, antitrust and commercial disputes between manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
Harris N. Cogan, chair of the corporate litigation group, said, “Mr. Levy has extensive proficiency in the retail sector, and will bring a new capability to the practice group.” Cogan cited Levy’s work in the areas of complex contracts, licensing, intellectual property and general business matters. Levy also advises foreign manufacturers, particularly in Italy and Switzerland, on operational issues in the U.S. retail environment.
