BERLIN — A new face is making waves for Coty’s Davidoff Cool Water.

Scott Eastwood, son of actor and director Clint Eastwood, will front the fragrance globally starting this summer, with the launch of TV and print ad campaigns.

This will be the first foray into fragrance for the 28-year-old, who has previously modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Lord & Taylor and Hugo Boss.

Scott Eastwood has appeared in more than 20 films, debuting in 2006’s “Flags of Our Fathers,” which was directed by his father. More recently, he acted alongside Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in October’s war drama “Fury.” Eastwoods’ first turn as leading man comes in April’s “The Longest Ride,” a western-tinged romance based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.

In addition to following in the footsteps of his famous father, the California-born actor and model has indicated he has a strong affinity with the sea and is a dedicated surfer both on-screen (in films “The Perfect Wave” and “Dawn Patrol”) and off.

“The ocean has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m proud to be the face of the fragrance that is synonymous with that lifestyle,” Eastwood said.

“Scott Eastwood is part of a new generation of man who is outdoorsy, adventurous and cares about the environment but doesn’t take himself too seriously,” said Steve Mormoris, chief marketing officer for fragrances at Coty. “He truly embodies the spirit of Davidoff Cool Water.”
