Sunni Spencer has entered into a consulting agreement with the BJI Fashion Group. Under the terms of the deal, Spencer will provide market strategy and merchandising for the company’s five women’s trade shows: AccessoriesTheShow, Edit, Fame, Moda and Stitch.

Spencer is an 18-year industry veteran and served most recently as vice president of ENK Vegas under UBM Advanstar. In August, ENK Vegas is being combined with Advanstar’s Project show and is being renamed Project Vegas. She had also served as vice president of sales for Project’s men’s and women’s show and was with Bergdorf Goodman for 13 years.

Britton Jones, president and chief executive officer of Business Journals Inc., said Spencer “brings a holistic view of the needs of the industry, a keen sense of strategy and merchandising and a deep appreciation for providing quality customer experiences. We look for her to play a strong role in helping us further refine, evolve and elevate our shows.”

In addition to the women’s shows, BJI also runs the MRket men’s show.
