Two more high-level Jones Group executives have left the company.

Susan Rieland, chief merchandising officer of sportswear at Jones, has departed after 17 years. During her tenure, she served as chief merchandising officer of bridge and lifestyle brands, where she had merchandising responsibility for Jones New York Signature, Jones New York Sport and AK Anne Klein. Earlier, she was president of casual design at Jones, overseeing design of Jones New York Sport, Jones & Co. and Lauren Ralph Lauren. Rieland joined Jones as vice president of sales for Jones & Co. in 1995.

A year and a half ago, Wes Card, chief executive officer of Jones, and Sidney Kimmel, chairman of Jones, presented Rieland with the Founders Award. She couldn’t be reached for comment.

In addition, Steven Sander, executive vice president, merchandising for Jones Casual Brands, resigned this week after 20 years. Earlier, he had been executive vice president of merchandise planning for all sportswear brands, including Jones, Anne Klein and Nine West. Reached at home, Sander said he had “no comment.”

Both Rieland and Sander had worked closely with Susan Metzger, former chief executive officer, women’s wholesale better sportswear at Jones, who left the company in January.

Stefani Greenfield was hired last fall as chief creative officer to reinvigorate the corporate culture and portfolio of brands at Jones. She is working with the creative teams across all Jones brands, reporting to Richard Dickson, president and chief executive of branded businesses, to help identify new talent where needed. According to Dickson, her role is to “really drive the branded point of view more clearly and distinctly through merchandising, design and creativity.”

Jones officials couldn’t be reached Tuesday for comment on Sander and Rieland’s departures or their successors.
