LONDON — Mulberry Group said Thierry Andretta has joined its board as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.
Andretta, 57, is currently chief executive officer of the Italian jewelry brand Buccellati.
Prior to joining Buccellati in July 2013, he held a similar role at Lanvin.
He has held various senior executive positions at brands including Moschino, the former Gucci Group, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Céline and Emanuel Ungaro.
“We look forward to working with [Thierry] as we continue to build Mulberry into a global luxury brand,” said Godfrey Davis, Mulberry’s executive chairman.
The company — whose risky upscaling drive prompted multiple profit warnings and executive turmoil – is to release its year-end financial results on Thursday.
