LONDON — The British label Toast has named Suzie de Rohan Willner to the post of chief executive officer and Laura Shippey as head of design.
De Rohan Willner will be working alongside husband-and-wife founders Jessica and James Seaton, and her role is a new one.
The appointments come as the brand enters a new chapter and prepares to expand globally.
Prior to Toast, de Rohan Willner served as ceo of FitFlop Ltd., and before that was the Puma’s director of global merchandising retail. She has worked for brands including Timberland, Dockers and Levi Strauss.
Shippey, who will report to de Rohan Willner, was previously senior designer at Margaret Howell and J. Crew.
Launched by the Seatons in 1997 as a catalogue company, Toast offers women’s wear, men’s wear and home ware and now has 11 shops in the U.K.
