Nevell was previously the brand manager of men’s furnishings, apparel and specialized accessories at Nordstrom Product Group, where he was instrumental in growing the business. He was named to that role in 2012 and was responsible for brand design, development and production as well as sales. His additional responsibilities included color and trend analysis, merchandising, buying, inventory management, finance and driving strategic business growth.
The Nordstrom veteran was also a store manager at the retailer’s Mall of America unit in Bloomington, Minn., and later became men’s divisional merchandise manager for the Southwest. In 2008, Nevell became men’s retail director/divisional merchandise manager of men’s direct, and national merchandise manager of men’s designer, corporate office. He was named retail director of men’s sportswear at Nordstrom in 2010.
