NEW YORK — Digital Brand Architects is setting up shop in Los Angeles. The New York-based digital agency, founded by Kendra Bracken-Ferguson and Karen Robinovitz in 2010, opened a Los Angeles office this week. Additionally, it’s brought on Coach veterans Raina Penchansky and Vanessa Flaherty as partner and director of brand development, respectively.

The firm works with designers and brands — Juicy Couture, Olsenboye, B Brian Atwood, Nine West, Kelly Wearstler, The Limited, Styleowner and Elie Tahari among them — on digital strategy and social media execution across a myriad of platforms. DBA also as paved the way with respect to online talent management, serving as an agent to almost 60 bloggers in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space, including Sea of Shoes’ Jane Aldridge, The Glamourai’s Kelly Frammel, Saucie Glossy’s Lindsey Calla and Tina Craig of the Bag Snob.

“L.A. is such a ripe opportunity to work with local brands for the social media side of our agency as well as the bloggers we represent on the management side of the company,” Robinovitz said. “From the blogger perspective, the talent is working on more and more high profile collaborations and it’s important for us to have a presence on the West Coast to nurture their growth.”
