NINETIES NUANCES: French Connection looked to the Nineties, as well as to publications including The Face and i-D Magazine, for its spring campaign, which also marks the comeback of the brand’s controversial FCUK logo.
Photographed by Harley Weir at Curtain Road studios in London, the campaign features actress Angie Sherbourne; artist Conie Vallese, and musician Will Heard. Sherbourne and Vallese wear a baby pink suit and a black body-conscious dress with a mesh top from the spring lineup, while Heard is photographed wearing a leaf-print button down shirt with black trousers.
“We are excited to be working with Harley for a second season after the success of the last campaign,” said chief executive officer Stephen Marks. “As we are paying homage to the Nineties, we felt this was the right time to reintroduce the FCUK logo and celebrate our brand heritage and this momentous time in fashion.”
The brand did not reveal details of where or when the spring advertisements will break.
