Gordon Brothers Group has renamed itself just Gordon Brothers.
The 113-year-old company, which has its roots in asset disposition, has grown into a global advisory, restructuring and investment firm. It works across different industries. The company appraises and disposes of $70 billion in assets annually and has access to $750 million in capital to deploy around the world. It operates out of 25 offices across four continents, with headquarters in Boston.
While the core business units already work under the Gordon Brothers name, other divisions such as DJM Real Estate and GB Energy Partners will now carry that name.
Ken Frieze, chief executive officer, said, “Gordon Brothers has built a strong reputation, backed up by extensive capability and expertise. As a strategic partner, we help clients understand where industries, sectors and assets are going and help them take action.”
Colleen Arons, managing director and head of marketing, said, “In support of the ‘one firm’ business strategy, we modernized and upgraded the Gordon Brothers brand identity.”
