IMG’S NEW ADDITION: IMG Models has signed Candice Huffine, a 31-year-old plus-size model, to an exclusive contract. She joins other IMG “Curve” models such as Ashley Graham, Chelsea Miller, Danielle Redman, Precious Lee and Tara Lynn, as well as Zach Miko, who is IMG’s first “Brawn” model.
Huffine received her big break in an editorial feature in V magazine called “Curves Ahead,” photographed by Sølve Sundsbø. Soon after, Steven Meisel photographed her for Vogue Italia and she has since appeared in such magazines as W, CR Fashion Book, American Vogue and on the covers of i-D and S Moda.
A size 12, Huffine also appeared in Lane Bryant’s controversial “I’m No Angel” and “Plus is Equal” ad campaigns, as well as campaigns for Marina Rinaldi, Marks & Spencer, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Torrid. Meisel also photographed her for the 2015 Pirelli Calendar. She made her runway debut in designer Sophie Theallet’s fall fashion show, and walked in Carine Roitfeld’s amfAR Gala fashion show at the Cannes Film Festival.
Huffine, who recently finished her first New York City half marathon, was previously represented by Muse.
