Copper Fit's newest campaign featuring Kate Upton.

Actress and model, Kate Upton has joined up with performance wear company, Copper Fit to promote its fall and holiday 2018 collections. Known mainly for its compression sleeves and braces, Upton will be charged with upping the awareness of Copper Fit’s new wellness and recovery-focused collections, which feeds into the brand’s commitment to build up its women’s category.

“Kate personifies our mission of promoting optimal health and wellness,” said Andy Khubani, chief executive officer and founder of Copper Fit’s parent corporation, IDV. This partnership is the latest in line of brands that have tapped Upton to front their marketing campaigns. Upton has previously served as a brand ambassador for the likes of Express and food company, Urban Remedy.

It’s a smart strategy — Upton touts more than 8 million followers collectively on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

“We look forward to infusing Kate’s personality and style into the brand; expanding and building on the success of the Copper Fit brand through apparel, footwear and accessories,” said Alan Chartash, executive director of Global Brands Group, the distribution company of Copper Fit.

With the swelling of ath-leisure sales, Copper Fit is aiming to capitalize on the trend as it builds up both its men’s and women’s offerings. “Copper Fit and Copper Fit Pro products utilize advanced technologies, materials and fabrics to help fitness-minded consumers maintain an active lifestyle. The company’s new line of men’s and women’s apparel, footwear, socks, bags and home goods will be sold at department, upper-tier department, specialty and sporting goods stores,” a Copper Fit spokesman said.

Upton shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, “I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Copper Fit! They are at the forefront of technology and advancements in active wear. Not only is their innovation cutting-edge, their fit and design are awesome, especially for my on-the-go lifestyle.”
