L’Oréal Paris is building its philanthropic efforts with a digital conversation.
After discovering that helping others is the number-one driver of self worth in a new study, L’Oréal Paris will conduct its first Women of Worth forum beginning Wednesday at 9 a.m. During the day-long Twitter discussion, L’Oréal Paris ambassadors and various other personalities like Lea Michele, Eva Longoria, Arianna Huffington and Mika Brzezinski and Maria Shriver, will take to the cyber waves to empower and encourage women.
“The Women of Worth Twitter Forum is just one of the ways we are evolving Women of Worth, with the goal of bringing even more people together to honor, celebrate and share the stories of incredible women that are dedicated to giving back,” said Karen Fondu, president of L’Oréal Paris. The Women of Worth program, which is in its ninth year, recognizes women who are dedicated to social causes.
“The mission of the Women of Worth program is to champion extraordinary women who are going above and beyond to serve the needs of others and their communities,” she said. “By convening thousands of women via Twitter including many of our past Women of Worth honorees, we hope to ignite a meaningful discussion on the role of self-worth and inspire women to find ways that they too can make a difference by pursuing their passions.
