Michael Kors puts the spotlight on individual style in his fall ad campaign, shot by Mario Testino.
“This season we’re throwing out the rulebook. From flirty feathers to textural tweeds, it’s all about individual style and clothes with personality,” said Kors.
The Michael Kors Collection campaign features Freja Beha Erichsen in the backseat of a luxe vintage car, decked out in chain detailing, feathers and oversize fur.
Ads for Michael Michael Kors play up the brand’s heritage and showcase models Emmy Rappe, Romy Schonberger and Sven de Vries captured by Testino in a helicopter above the Manhattan skyline. The ads evoke the jet-set glamour of the Seventies. Michael Kors Men’s ads show model Wouter Peelen , disembarking from a private jet, highlighting a sporty aesthetic.
Kors’ global campaign breaks this month with ads running in the fall issues of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar and France Le Figaro Paris Chic. Overall, the ads will reach 35 countries. Images will also appear in digital outlets, as well as social media platforms and traditional outdoor media placement. The company declined to reveal the fall ad budget.
