The campaigns keep rolling out. Proenza Schouler took a slightly new direction for fall, casting a group of models for the first time with Anne Catherine Lacroix, Karolin Wolter, Liisa Winkler and Liya Kebede. David Sims shot, Peter Miles art-directed and Marie Chaix styled, all working to convey a sense of movement. Lazaro Hernandez said he and Jack McCollough were interested in “capturing a kind of freedom and creative improvisation between the girls. There were no preconceived ideas about how the pictures would turn out in the end. We let the process completely direct the outcome.”

“We took four incredible, strong models, with whom we have personal relationships, to our friend’s gallery, Algus Greenspon, and let the narrative unfold throughout the course of the day,” added McCollough. “The pictures capture not only the spirit of the woman we design for, but also the uninhibited creativity that informed this collection.”

For her second campaign for Sacai, Chitose Abe also wanted the images to be in motion. Craig McDean shot Julia Nobis and Lexi Boling, and Karl Templer styled the shoot to affect mirrorlike images. The campaign will appear in the August issue of U.S. Interview, as well as September issues of Love magazine, The Gentlewoman, Purple, Self Service, Interview and Ginza.
