This past Thursday, New York Fashion Week officially passed on the torch to Coterie. Trade show producer UBM hosted a party at the World of McIntosh townhouse in SoHo. As buyers and editors prepare to hit London for the next round of shows, UBM discovered an opportunity to connect – and alleviate additional stress – of the jet set. Attendees were granted access to preview collections belonging to 60 of the top brands showing at Coterie, a convenience for those who might typically miss the tradeshow due to demanding travel schedules.

Housed in the remarkable venue, brands were scattered on multiple floors facilitating an enthusiastic flow to the event as guests explored every corner of the townhouse. Brands showcased included Alexis Bittar, Jill Stuart, Chiara Ferragni, Milly, Koral, and Zadig & Voltaire. Pryma provided attendees a sneak peak to its Coterie Soundrack, Volume 6. The soundtrack is just one component of the relationship between the headphone company and the tradeshow – the brand will be revealing its new collection of headphones celebrating traditional craftsmanship and luxury materials.
Notable guests included Chiara Ferragni, Uri Minkoff, Emma Snowdon-Jones, and Karen Erickson.
Sunday, September 18 marks the first day of Coterie in which brands ranging from contemporary womenswear to textiles will show their new collections to thousands of attendees. UBM Americas has distinguished Coterie as the premiere tradeshow for lines to reach new markets and reinforce existing relationships with press and buyers. UBM Americas curates events and marketing services in the fashion, technology, licensing, advanced manufacturing industries among others.
