Featuring a stop-motion animation technique, “Wonderland” is a short film that sees Jones as a French harlequin clown and features Smythson’s fall 2015 collection. Jones incorporated bold colors, graphic designs, and her own handcrafted paper masks and colorful collages into the whimsical production.
“I chose the key pieces for the season and thought about how to make them move in a dynamic way,” Jones said. “It is really fun thinking about how to bring inanimate objects to life.”
Jones is the brand ambassador and face of the Smythson fall 2015 campaign. She has created films for brands including Chanel, Victoria Beckham, Holly Fulton and Tibi. Her illustrations have been used by Marc by Marc Jacobs and Opening Ceremony.
