Etienne Aigner, the ready-to-wear and accessories firm, is reaching out to the next generation.
Its fall campaign was photographed by Sophie Elgort and will feature Tali Lennox. This marks the first time that Aigner has worked with Elgort, daughter of Arthur Elgort, and Lennox, daughter of Annie Lennox. Tali Lennox is an artist, model and portrait painter.
The Aigner campaign was shot on location in the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City.
For fall, Aigner’s clothes reflect a casual opulence. According to Daniela Anastasio Bardazzi, creative director, rich fabrics and leather highlight more relaxed jacket and pant silhouettes. Oxblood and dusk blue are part of the darkened color palette that evokes a painterly mood. The fall collection also features tumbled and worn leathers and structured and lightweight Neoprene dresses.
The campaign will break in the September issues of Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour and will run through September. The ad buy has increased five percent from a year ago.
In addition, Aigner will open a kiosk in The Shops at North Bridge at 520 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago in September. This marks Aigner’s third location following stores in SoHo and the Time Warner Center.
