Colleen Sherin has been named president of Coterie.
Most recently, she was vice president of wholesale at Alexander McQueen and before that she was with Saks Fifth Avenue for 15 years, where she rose to vice president, fashion director.
As part of her role at Coterie, Sherin has been charged with driving impactful partnerships that will elevate the Coterie brand and strengthen connections for the women’s wear community.
Danielle Licata, who has served as president of Coterie and East Coast Womenswear, left the company last fall to pursue other endeavors.
Nancy Walsh, president of fashion, Informa Markets, whose B2B businesses include Coterie, said, “After an extensive search, we are thrilled to have Colleen on board to drive the innovation and build upon the Coterie brand and its many partners both domestically and internationally.”
Sherin, who reports to Walsh, added, “As a long-standing attendee of their events over the years during my tenure as fashion director for luxury multibrand retailer Saks Fifth Avenue, I look greatly forward to collaborating with the Informa team and our partners in continuing to innovate this platform in connecting, educating and inspiring the ever-evolving global fashion community.”
The next Coterie takes place today through Thursday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
