Coterie, which features women’s apparel, accessories and footwear designers, will introduce Destination, a curated neighborhood within the main New York shows that will focus on international resort and travel collections. Destination will launch in July at Miami Swim Week as a stand-alone, premium event.

Destination will also be in the June [Pre] Coterie and main Coterie show in September as a neighborhood.

Destination Miami will be an immersive, multilevel showroom-style experience that will allow contemporary and designer brands to showcase in a new format. The show will emphasize international designers and feature 70 hand-selected brands reflecting global-travel lifestyle, such as Adriana Degreas, Anemone Swim, Sara Cristina, Stellar, Suki Cohen, March 11 and Mercedes Salazar.

These brands offer an assortment of resortwear, swimwear and accessories.

The exhibition will take place at Faena Bazaar in Miami Beach and will run from July 13 through 16.

“We are launching Destination Miami this July as a globally curated resort lifestyle platform filled with some of our favorite finds,” said Danielle Licata, president of Coterie and East Coast Womenswear. “It’s important for us that this event adds to the larger Miami Swim market week bringing in a fresh product assortment the buyers are asking for. Desintation Miami is the first of a series of focused showroom atmospheres that will be an extension of the current Coterie portfolio.”

Hillary Joseph, senior event director, added, “We want to bring a new experience to Miami and really create a home for retailers to discover the newest designers in resortwear, swimwear and accessories that cater to the warm-weather travel-lifestyle category while allowing our showroom concept to give the brands an open space to tell their stories.”
