DALLAS — For the first time, the Dallas Market Center will combine nearly all of the wholesale merchandise categories displayed across the sprawling complex into a new Total Lifestyle Market in June 2020.

The move, which delays the women’s market by about two weeks from its typical time slot, is intended to make it easier for retailers to shop for fashion plus other product categories during one visit.

“A lot of the apparel stores are now merchandising a greater diversity of products, including gifts, home decor, wellness and artisan accessories — the kinds of things we have here during our gift and home markets,” said Cole Daugherty, senior vice president, marketing communications.

In addition, some apparel and accessories exhibitors have been asking for the markets for better access to the 20,000 buyers who typically attend the massive Total Home & Gift Market in June, he said.

Some of them already open their showrooms or exhibit in temporary booths during the gift shows.

The women’s Apparel & Accessories Market will run June 23 to 26, overlapping the Total Home & Gift Market and KidsWorld apparel and accessories market June 24 to 30. Lightovation: Dallas International Lighting Show is set for June 24 to 27.

The Total Lifestyle Market won’t include the Dallas Men’s Show or The One bridal show.
