Spanish heritage brand Delpozo opened a new boutique in Dubai Mall on Monday. This is the brand’s first store in the Middle East, and its third globally, following London and Madrid.
Josep Font, the brand’s creative director who was initially trained as an architect, played a key role in the store design, which mirrors the look of the Madrid boutique, including an accent wall of black marble and vintage gold touches throughout. The 1,479-square-foot store houses the Prêt-à-Couture, bridal, accessories and the footwear collections.
The store was opened in partnership with Symphony Style, part of Alabbar enterprises. Their portfolio includes their own multibrand concept store, Symphony, as well as Temperley London and Issey Miyake.
Gaelle Galati, a spokesperson for Symphony, said: “We are listening to our customers who are showing a growing demand for Delpozo. It fits very well in the region, where our clients are looking for the very interesting special occasion statement pieces which elevate their look.”
The store is located on the ground floor of the new Fashion Avenue and opens with Delpozo’s spring collection. Delpozo’s Madrid store opened in March 2013 and its London store opened in May 2016. The brand was founded in 1974.
