Victor Herrero has been named to the board of G-III Apparel Group Ltd.
The appointment was revealed at the company’s annual meeting of shareholders in New York Thursday.
Most recently, Herrero was chief executive officer and director of Guess. He had been in the position from August 2015 until January of this year. Earlier, he spent more than 12 years at Inditex Group in several senior executive roles, and rose to become the head of Asia-Pacific, where he was responsible for all aspects of Inditex’s Asia business for all brands. He is currently a non-executive director of Coppel SA, Global Fashion Group and Clarks.

Allen Sirkin, a former president of PVH Corp., has decided not to stand for reelection. The board will continue to consist of 11 members.
